come, watch, listen and join in if you want to
every 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th Thursday-Bridge Club-meet at 7pm
every 2nd Thursday-Alfa Romeo Motor Club -meet at 7.30
Fun playing Bingo with a snowball at times in excess of £250 Starts at 9.30pm
Sunday Community Quiz starts at 9.30pm Any number in each team.
Fun general knowledge quiz with proceeds going to support community activities in our two villages
Team prizes and raffle to be won. Your chance to win big money
We can open any time from 10am in the morning for activities and meetings etc

Come along to the quiz on a Sunday night, have fun and help to raise funds for your local good cause
|The Rhydymwyn volunteer team at Rhydymwyn Valley Site will continue to run weekly , every Thursday:
Volunteer tasks may involve getting a bit mucky!
Please wear outdoor, weather appropriate clothes, sensible footwear and bring a packed lunch.
Booking is essential for all events and volunteering so we know how many people to plan for.
If you are no longer able to attend any of our events, please let us know as there may be people waiting to book .
Activities are subject to change, and we’ll do our best to inform you of any changes as soon as we can.
We are happy to provide lifts from and to Wrexham/Mold where possible, if you inform us beforehand.

|Rhydymwyn Summer Fete
Many thanks to all who supported our Annual Summer Fete in 2018.
It was a great success with a lot of positive feedback about the atmosphere, activities and stalls.
The fete last year plus other fund raising activities raised enough money to buy the second
defibrillator which has been ordered and will be installed on Y Dderwen/The Oak in Hendre
as soon as it arrives
This years summer fete and dog show will be held on July 6th 2019 from 12 noon until 4 pm
If you are interested in giving donations , raffle prizes , running a stall or joining the group of
volunteers who help out in so many other ways please get in touch on 740858.
Next meeting Wednesday April 10th at 8pm at The Oak-All welcome

|Saturday April 13th-Annual Litter Pick
Two teams will meet at 10am
At Rhydymwyn Church Car Park or at The Dderwen/The Oak Car Park depending on which is more convenient for you
The Litter Pick will finish at 12 noon and if you make your way to the pub
there will be free homemade soup, and a roll, bara brith and cake.

All welcome. Cost will be £5 per car/team
Starting from the War Memorial Institute and all funds raised to go towards the upkeep of the Institute

Family Discovery Day at Rhydymwyn Valley Nature Reserve organised by FORV
Rhydymwyn Nature Reserve is a unique site of outstanding scientific significance with an intriguing history
The gates will be open to visitors to showcase the different activities that occur on site
and the opportunities that are available to members of FORV
There will be stands highlighting the nature conservation that goes on at the reserve
and the protected species that abound there
Organisations including Amphibian and Reptile Conservation, Wildground,, Butterfly Conservation, ,
Flintshire County Council, and Chester Zoo Rangers will be in attendance
The reserve also offers opportunities for leisure activities
So there will be an exhibition and demonstrations of work of some of the artists who use the reserve,
a Yoga demonstration, Music for Toddlers, Kids Craft Tent and cafe run by the WI
It will be a great way to spend the day to discover all this reserve has to offer
