In November 2012 we celebrated five years of excellent nights held here,
come, watch, listen and join in if you want to
every 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th Thursday-Bridge Club-meet at 7pm
every 2nd Thursday-Alfa Romeo Motor Club -meet at 7.30
Fun playing Bingo with a snowball at times in excess of £250 Starts at 9.30pm
Sunday Community Quiz starts at 9.30pm Any number in each team.
Fun general knowledge quiz with proceeds going to support community activities in our two villages
Team prizes and raffle to be won. Your chance to win big money
We can open any time from 10am in the morning for activities and meetings etc

|The Rhydymwyn volunteer team at Rhydymwyn Valley Site will continue to run weekly , every Thursday:
Volunteer tasks may involve getting a bit mucky!
Please wear outdoor, weather appropriate clothes, sensible footwear and bring a packed lunch.
Booking is essential for all events and volunteering so we know how many people to plan for.
If you are no longer able to attend any of our events, please let us know as there may be people waiting to book .
Activities are subject to change, and we’ll do our best to inform you of any changes as soon as we can.
We are happy to provide lifts from and to Wrexham/Mold where possible, if you inform us beforehand.

|Saturday November 3rd-Bonfire and Grand Fireworks Display
The small committee that organises the annual bonfire are looking for volunteers to help in the preparation ,stewarding,
putting up and taking down of the marquee and building the bonfire and tidying up afterwards
Refreshments will be provided free by St Johns Church to all bonfire builders and helpers
Helpers meet at the Donkey Field at 9.30 for bonfire building etc
The committee are looking for new members and meet three or four times a year,
in total about 10 hours of your time to provide what is acknowledged to be the best free fireworks evening in the area
The next meeting will be held on Wednesday 24th October at 7pm at The Oak in Hendre
Come along and meet us and ask for Ian(telephone 741889)
The main bonfire starts at 6pm with burgers, sausages, coffees and teas
Bring a guy along to the bonfire and win a prize
For health, safety and insurance reasons sparklers are not allowed on the field and neither is alcohol
However the Football Club Bar will be open for those who wish to buy drinks when they leave the event
|Rhydymwyn Summer Fete
Many thanks to all who supported our Annual Summer Fete in 2018.
It was a great success with a lot of positive feedback about the atmosphere, activities and stalls.
We raised almost £900 towards our second defibrillator for Hendre
Next years summer fete will be held on July 6th 2019
so if you have any ideas for stalls and activities please let us know
Planning meetings will start in the next few weeks
