come, watch, listen and join in if you want to
every 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th Thursday-Bridge Club-meet at 7pm
every 2nd Thursday-Alfa Romeo Motor Club -meet at 7.30
Fun playing Bingo with a snowball at times in excess of £250 Starts at 9.30pm
Sunday Community Quiz starts at 9.30pm Any number in each team.
Fun general knowledge quiz with proceeds going to support community activities in our two villages
Team prizes and raffle to be won. Your chance to win big money
We can open any time from 10am in the morning for activities and meetings etc

|The Rhydymwyn volunteer team at Rhydymwyn Valley Site will continue to run weekly , every Thursday:
Volunteer tasks may involve getting a bit mucky!
Please wear outdoor, weather appropriate clothes, sensible footwear and bring a packed lunch.
Booking is essential for all events and volunteering so we know how many people to plan for.
If you are no longer able to attend any of our events, please let us know as there may be people waiting to book .
Activities are subject to change, and we’ll do our best to inform you of any changes as soon as we can.
We are happy to provide lifts from and to Wrexham/Mold where possible, if you inform us beforehand.

Rhydymwyn Summer Fete
Many thanks to all who supported our Annual Summer Fete in 2018.
It was a great success with a lot of positive feedback about the atmosphere, activities and stalls.
The fete last year plus other fund raising activities raised enough money to buy the second defibrillator
which has installed at Y Dderwen/The Oak in Hendre
The 2019 Fete will be held on July 6th from 12 noon until 4pm at Rhydymwyn Football Club
THE GRAND RAFFLE
Prizes galore-£200 cash, £50 cash and many more fabulous prizes,
thanks to the amazing generosity of our local businesses and residents
Tickets will be on sale at Y Dderwen/The Oak and Rhydymwyn Garage . Ticket stubs can be taken to Rhydymwyn Garage,
given to any Committee member or just bring them along to the fete
11.30-The bar opens
12 noon-Rev. Daniel Stroud will open the fete-John Les Tomas is MC

Meningitis Now-aiming to raise £35,000(£33,400 raised to date) in memory of Daniel (who would have been 21 in October )

Fun Dog Show
Sian, Sam and Wendy's super friendly dog show is back this year and better than ever. As well as the dog show they will also be
demonstrating dog agility, with an opportunity for your dog to have a go. Pamper your pooches and come and see them
1 -Prettiest Bitch, 2 -Handsomest Dog, 3-Waggiest Tail, 4-Best 6 Legs, 5- Best Rescue, 6-Irish Brace, 7-Best Trick,
8-Dog most like its owner, 9-Young Handler(12 and under), 10-The dog the judges would like to take home.
Bonus Class -Fancy Dress, Championship open to all First and Second Prize Winners
Great Fete Bake-Off
Please deliver your entries preferably on a plate and covered with cling film between 11.00 and 11.45
to the Football Club on July 6th so that judging can begin before the fete starts. Entry is free
Men-Carrot and Orange Loaf. (See Newsletter for recipe) Ladies-An Apple Pie to your own recipe
Children(under 12 years)-4 Homemade Biscuits of your own recipe choice decorated as you wish
Adults and Teenagers- Theme 1 GREEN, Theme 2 Images of Rhydymwyn and/or Hendre
If you enter this one we will be asking for permission to use your photo for our planned 2020 calender
